Welcome to Wight Marque

Truly local produce from the Isle of Wight

The Isle of Wight is a region that has an abundance of quality food and drink produce and dining establishments that are renowned for their support of and the use of local produce. The Royal Isle of Wight Agricultural Society has therefore announced a new Wight Marque as a sign of quality and provenance for the Isle of Wight.

What is Wight Marque?

The Isle of Wight Royal Agricultural Society is providing the Isle of Wight with a scheme comprising a recognised logo that clearly identifies individual products, producers and establishments that support local Isle of Wight produce.

Who can use the Wight Marque?

Producers, processors, sellers and food & drink establishments are able to use the Wight Marque if their business is based within the scheme boundary and their products meet the scheme criteria. This accreditation is available to all local food & drink industry businesses who work hard to promote and support local food, drink and produce. This means that producers, farm shops, restaurants, pubs, butchers and even wholesalers could be eligable to use the Wight Marque.

Details on how to apply for accreditation and the Wight Marque application form are on the membership page.
